H.O.G. Chapter

The Harley Owners Group® (H.O.G.) is an organization founded and sponsored by Harley-Davidson Motor Company. The group was instituted to offer motorcycling benefits and services to Harley-Davidson enthusiasts throughout the world and to develop a close relationship between the Harley-Davidson rider, the Harley-Davidson dealer and Harley-Davidson Motor Company.

The opportunity to join a local chapter of the Harley Owners Group is offered so as to bring members together for the common interest of promoting local motorcycling activities for members. The goal of the local chapter is to generate an increased level of enthusiasm for riding Harley-Davidson® motorcycles.

Pompton Plains H.O.G. is there for your motorcycling enjoyment. You'll meet and mix with fellow riders—male and female, from all walks of life—yet they all have one thing in common...a love to ride their Harley! Requirements are simple: first you must be a member of the National Harley Owners Group; then you may apply and obtain membership to Pompton Plains H.O.G.. There is a nominal membership fee each year. Pompton Plains Chapter is sponsored by Kosco Harley-Davidson as well as being chartered by the National H.O.G., who are in turn sponsored by the Harley-Davidson Motor Company.

Pompton Plains H.O.G. meets the third Wednesday of every month except the month of December. Meetings start at 8:00pm and last about an hour and a half. The meetings are held at Gabriel's Restaurant, Route 23 N., Wayne, NJ. Anyone is welcome to attend any meeting to see what it is all about. You do not have to attend meetings to belong, but it would be nice to see you at meetings.

Pompton Plains H.O.G. Chapter is a Not-for-profit organization; we donate to several charities during the year.

The chapter has regular scheduled rides during the riding season, we have at least one ride each Sunday, sometimes two. The ride normally leaves on Sunday morning around 10:00am from The Pompton Queen Diner, Route 23 North, Pompton Plains, NJ. There may also be a ride leaving later in the day to allow members that have things to do in the morning to still get some riding in with other members. We also have monthly dinner rides, on the third Sunday and the first Wednesday of each month.

For any information about meetings or rides, call the hot line any time 24 hours a day: 973-838-8800 ext. 9

If you are interested in joining Pompton Plains H.O.G., please fill out a local chapter application and return it to Kosco Harley-Davidson, or bring it to any meeting with your dues. We are looking forward to meeting you.
